Sue Mark and Bruce Douglas of the Oakland-based creative team marksearch traveled to Japan in order to complete their Nichi Bei Creative Arts Fellowship project “Journey Itself Home,” which honors survivors of the 2011 Fukushima disaster through collaborative poetry.
